Of course it is very important, in some gatherings all we do is pray and other times we never pray, so it is pretty free flowing. SOme of the groups are pretty basic and just talk to God, while others are exploring different forms of prayer. The thing to remember I think is that prayer is not the purpose of our faith, but a vehicle to connect in with you know who.
